The Fanlistings
A fanlisting is simply website that gathers and lists the many fans of a given subject. There are fanlistings for actors, episodes, movies, foods... just about anything you can think of! This simple but highly addictive idea is the brainchild of the lovely Janine, and you can find out more about it at the homepage here.

Wesley Wyndam-Pryce
The Watcher's Council sent Wesley to Sunnydale to take over for Giles in Season 3 of BtVS, but he wasn't prepared for how stubborn Buffy could be. He expected her to follow orders and obey the rules, but anyone who's seen an episode of BtVS knows Buffy doesn't play that way. And if Buffy was hard to handle, Faith proved downright impossible.

When both Slayers turned their back on the Council, Wesley was fired and stayed in America as a rogue demon hunter ("What's a rogue demon?"). His travels led him to Los Angeles where he joined Angel Investigations. His specialty was research and demonic lore, and what he lacked in martial skill he made up for in enthusiasm and loyalty to his new employer.

Over time Wesley's confidence grew along with his skills. Surviving an explosion and a gunshot to the stomach took away a lot of his remaining innocence, and when Angel fired the rest of his team, Wesley found himself in charge of the new Angel Investigations... minus Angel. The team eventually found its way back together, but a false prophecy changed Wesley forever. Fearing that Angel was fated to kill his son, Connor, Wesley reluctantly abducted the child to keep him safe, but a woman named Justine took the baby from him and slashed Wesley's throat, leaving him to die.

Once again, Wesley survived, but his friends at A.I. abandoned him, blaming him for Connor's kidnapping. The once-naive Wesley became cynical and hard. He assembled a new team where he could put his leadership skills and growing weapons expertise to use, but an apocalyptic threat brought him back to Angel Investigations.

When everyone's memories of Connor were erased, Wesley retained much of the confidence and competence that his trials and his time alone had taught him. In his new position heading Wolfram and Hart with the rest of the team, Wesley was a respected and capable leader. Even though he fell in the final battle (according to Joss anyway - I'm living quite happily in denial), despite his inexperience when he came to America, he rose to meet every challenge. Whether bookish and shy or ruthlessly efficient, one thing about Wesley never changed: he was a hero.
