Joss Whedon's Fray is an 8-issue miniseries set 200 years into the future of the "Buffyverse". Long after magic and monsters left this dimension, demons and vampires have again begun to emerge. In response, a Slayer is called, the first in two centuries. The Watchers' Council is a shambles, and there's big brewin' evil afoot. Naturally, mayhem ensues.

The pace is electric, with a masterful blend of drama, action, and wit. I've laughed out loud, cheered, and gasped. I've even cried once or twice. And the writing is supported by some incredible artwork to make Fray one of the most dynamic books I've ever read. It's published by Dark Horse, who I've no doubt are thrilled with the critical and fan acclaim this book has garnered.
