Sydney vs. Anna
As top field operatives for their respective agencies, Sydney Bristow and Anna Espinosa have crossed paths on several occasions. In one meeting, when Sydney was meeting with an informant, Anna eavesdropped on the conversation from a nearby rooftop then shot the informant, just to show Sydney that she wasn't in Anna's league. Their next confrontation, after Sydney became a double-agent for the CIA, appeared to be unfolding in Anna's favour, but Sydney came out on top. A necessary compromise, however, meant they both got the information they were after.
They crossed paths again in Italy, and Sydney escaped by leaping from a rooftop with a Rambaldi artifact safely in hand. But the advantage later went to Anna again, when her K-Directorate team ambushed Sydney and Dixon near the border of Chile and Argentina. Both were left for dead, but Sydney's kevlar vest, a very lucky break, and a CIA radio helped them escape with their lives.
