The First Slayer debuted in Restless, the S4 finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Played by Sharon Ferguson, this feral warrior serves as a connection between Buffy's subconscious and the mutual heritage that binds these two together. Also called The Primitive, she sometimes appears in Buffy's dreams to offer guidance or rebuke. In addition to the three episodes of BtVS, the First Slayer has also appeared in several of the Buffy comics.
