Dead Drop
In episode 2.04 of Alias, Sloane wants Jack to look into the worrying hints that Emily might still be alive. Jack has a problem of his own to worry about: specifically, Sydney's growing relationship with her mother. Sydney insists she's only interested in how useful Derevko can be to them, but Jack can see that it's more than that. He's not entirely objective himself, though, and goes to drastic lengths to have Irina removed. Will, in the meantime, meets a woman who presses him to investigate SD-6 with her. And in pursuit of the operations manual for Derevko's syndicate, SD-6 captures a man who is suffering from a mysterious illness that causes bleeding under his fingernails.
